Carpet Bowls

On Wednesday 15^th February we played an afternoon friendly home match against Black Notley. Each club had four teams and each team played 2 matches. Notley started of well winning the first two matched. However in the next two matches the honours were even as were the next two matches with some close ends being played. This gave Notley a 4-2 lead going into the last two games. Fortunately Halstead won the last two games giving a draw overall. Tea, biscuits and cake were then enjoyed by one and all.
